... of course it did it this time, as a result of typing 'ubuntu-bug
apport' in order to report this; but *normally* when I encounter some
application crash and the usual apport dialogue comes up offering to
send a report to the developers, etc., and I click "Continue", the
apport window disappears and nothing further happens. So the bugs aren't
getting reported.
I suppose it could be that they fall into either "you're running an old
version, update" (unlikely, I'm an update-fetishist!), or a "the
developers are already aware of this one" case, but it used to at least
say so if that was the case. As it is at the moment, there's just
nothing happening, and it looks like it's broken, hence this report.
I've also wondered if it's a "saucy isn't even in *alpha* yet! go away
until it is!" ;-) But I wouldn't mind being told that either. :-)
(btw, default browser is google chrome - which worked fine just now in
the "ubuntu-bug <package>" case, so i don't think that's the problem.
I'd have thought if it was you could always just force the use of a
supported in-repo browser whatever the default is?)
