Okay i've played around a bit with the two drivers. Frozen bubble does not cause a problem with nv or nvidia driver
Most of those games (3d) dont work with the nv driver so i couldn't test, but i have tested some more games on nvidia Lincity/Nexuiz/Open Arena/Wormux/Assault Cube/Ultimate Stunts/GL-117 all did not cause the problem. The only one i've found that i can add the the above list is Warcraft 3 (Wine again).
