In terms of future-proofing, adding 1.2.0 for Gutsy would be a wise move, as it will be able to decode any FLAC files made with 1.2.x versions of a FLAC encoder. However, I'm guessing that any other packages which handle FLAC decoding, like gstreamer, will need to be updated as well.
