I installed the image + headers + lttng + lttng-modules-dkms. Then manually installed the kernel into the flash boot region, rebooted and was able to get lttng to work:
root@ubuntu-phablet:~# lttng list -k Kernel events: ------------- timer_init (loglevel: TRACE_EMERG (0)) (type: tracepoint) timer_start (loglevel: TRACE_EMERG (0)) (type: tracepoint) timer_expire_entry (loglevel: TRACE_EMERG (0)) (type: tracepoint) timer_expire_exit (loglevel: TRACE_EMERG (0)) (type: tracepoint) timer_cancel (loglevel: TRACE_EMERG (0)) (type: tracepoint) hrtimer_init (loglevel: TRACE_EMERG (0)) (type: tracepoint) hrtimer_start (loglevel: TRACE_EMERG (0)) (type: tracepoint) etc.. So, verified OK. ** Tags added: verification-done -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1180394 Title: ubuntu-nexus4, lttng-modules-dkms won't build with current kernel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-meta-nexus4/+bug/1180394/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
