I tried the opposite thing (guidance-powermanager without acpi-support)
and again the laptop doesn't do the double-sleep, but it does still have
issues with garbled video memory, so that may need to be submitted as a
seperate bug. The laptop goes to sleep at about 3 seconds after the
button press, as hypothesized earlier.

I've attached some logs from before and after the double sleep issue
