I'm getting this bug with Kubuntu 13.04 32bit booted from a USB pen drive on a Samsung N110 netbook.
I am re-using pre-existing partitions, a small /boot partition and the rest uses LVM LV's. I am formatting the root and using /home as is with data in place. On changing the 3rd partition the installer drops out with no errors being displayed on the GUI.
