Public bug reported: We need to make some minor changes to get lttng-modules-dkms to build on the nexus4 (mako) on Raring.
a) Revert trace event modifications to realign these with standard upstream and Ubuntu trace events. b) Remove a modpost Makefile CONFIG_NO_ERROR_ON_MISMATCH which is too exacting and we should relax this to align with standard Ubuntu modpost settings. ** Affects: linux-nexus4 (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Assignee: Colin King (colin-king) Status: Invalid ** Affects: linux-nexus4 (Ubuntu Raring) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Colin King (colin-king) Status: In Progress ** Affects: linux-nexus4 (Ubuntu Saucy) Importance: Low Assignee: Colin King (colin-king) Status: Invalid ** Summary changed: - ubuntu-nexus4, lttng-modules-dkms won't built with current kernel + ubuntu-nexus4, lttng-modules-dkms won't build with current kernel ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Colin King (colin-king) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1180394 Title: ubuntu-nexus4, lttng-modules-dkms won't build with current kernel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-nexus4/+bug/1180394/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
