Same goes for Lubuntu 13.04 - same problem, nothing has changed except the shape of the icons, that is all :)
I have made a video to make it easier for our developers to see what is going on and I have explained everything in details on the description of that video. Please, see this: http://youtu.be/OAPbQHU31sI Thank you! P.S. I really do hope this could be fixed once and for all on 13.10 because it does NOT make any sense :) P.S. 2 I will list the details here JUST IN CASE you have a problem with YouTube site :) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: the problem has started since Lubuntu 11.10 until now and this is Lubutnu 13.04 on this video! I have reported this as a bug long time ago - Bug 970758 Like any Menu on any system in the world, once you move your mouse away, the menu 'should' disappear. However, the Menu with Lubuntu has decided to go another path. How to produce it? Scenario A 1- Open Menu 2- Go to any category 3- Move your mouse away 4- Menu will NOT disappear UNLESS you click on anything else (does not matter right or left click) Scenario B 1- Open Menu 2- Go to any category 3- Right Click on anything, say: Menu - Accessories - LXTerminal 4- Move your mouse away 5- Click on anything (right or left click does not matter) 6- Menu will never disappear and will be frozen and stuck on the same selection you have made - if you did Menu - Accessories - LXTerminal then it will indeed be stuck on that just like you are still using your mouse to make a selection while truth is, your mouse is somewhere else. 7- The only way to make it disappear and be back to normal is to click on the Menu Icon where the Lubuntu Logo so that it will disappear. Otherwise, it will not. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/970758 Title: Menu is frozen after opening it and it will not disappear (even after clicking on the desktop) unless clicking on it again To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxpanel/+bug/970758/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
