Hi Robert, That's interesting. It does work on mine Raring (both of them); but I _do_ have libcap2 installed.
Libcap2 is a dependency for policycorelinux, but I cannot see any depends that would zero in coreutils except for selinux-related. So, if licap2 is now a hard dependency for coreutils, we will need to adjust the package. But nobody else has reported, to my knowledge, anything like this... I will rename the libcap.so.2, and try 'ls' here in a few. ** Changed in: coreutils (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: coreutils (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1177950 Title: ls does not work on raring with all updates To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/coreutils/+bug/1177950/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
