Public bug reported: Collective bug report (maybe interconected...)
1. When starting up system, should I first log into the Unity desktop, then the greeter stays visible on the desktop even after login Should I first enter Gnome desktop and then Unity, everything is (almost) fine, besides that I can not change the background for Unity from a blacky black. 2. Should I suspend system when in Gnome from the enabled "suspend" extention under "username" on top panel, everything works out fine. But should I do it by closing the lid, then the "Applications" extention once opened never releases the focus and everything is inaccesible but for the top panel where you can fortunately restart. Unity has no sutch issues. 3. Last but most annoying, the overlay scrollbar disappear after the first use with any window. You have to close & reopen, but then the same thing happens again. You only get to use it once every time you open a widow. Move the focus away to s/g else, and you are done. Well the above happen 95% of the times with variations for the remaining 5% not to get bored. Oh, as a bonus, should I have the file manager handle the desktop, then Unity has a lovely total-white background no matter what you do. If file manager handles the desktop not enabled, you get a black one. again, no matter what.
