Hi,

I re-checked this with the new 3.04 release.
It's still there. Two restarts, no WLAN. Still don't see my router at all.

I see in the Network-Manager menu: exactly one of my neighbor's WLANs.
Two restarts: it always shows *the same* neighbor's WLAN (other machines show
several)

This does not seem to be the effect I see on other machines here.
I'm not sure that this is different from another bug report (about 12.10 WLAN
being left in an inconsistant state).

Here's some more info (again, copied by hand, the only option due to the
castastrophically broken apport-collect).

$ lsmod | grep brc
  brcmsmac        ...  0
  cordic          ...  1  brcmsmac
  brcmulti        ...  1  brcmsmac
  mac80211        ...  1  brcmsmac
  cfg80211        ...  1  brcmsmac, mac80211
  bcma            ...  1  brcmsmac
$ ifconfig
  shows wlan0 up
$ iwlist wlan0 scanning
   wlan0  No scan results
(tried several times with same absence of results)
