Public bug reported:
I installed a recommended upgrade from 3.8.0-19.29 to 3.8.0-19.30
Since then both suspend and shutdown suspend.
Shutdown gets as far as the purple screen with ubuntu in the middle and orange
dots cycling underneath, and then stays in that
state indefinitely.
Suspend will log me out and back to the unlock locked-screen dialog.
