Hi there.
Mixed results depending on whether one suspends by closing the lid or
choosing suspend from the top panel "username" choice.
Suspending from top panel choice seams to cause no problem.
Suspending by closing the laptop lid though is a different beast: This
time Appindicator was active but once opened there was no way out. I
could not start any application from my task bar (Docky), could start no
terminal from keyboard, Alt+F2 did nothing. Being active for a while I
started Terminal from Applications / Utilities, but it was running
_behind_ Applications Menu and I could not escape the Menu area for any
other application, which area became unresponsive after a while.
Top panel was active though, so I could restart the system.
So issuing the apport-collect command would be after the restart. Would
that be of any use?
Thanks
SP
