In my previous install of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, I could install VirtualBox without problems.
I did a reinstall with 12.04.2 which ships 3.5 kernel, and VirtualBox kernel module will compile anymore. I wonder why the bug is "Fix released" considering that I updated the distribution before installing VirtualBox, and installing VirtualBox from external source does not fix the bug in the distribution itself. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1019628 Title: virtualbox-dkms 4.1.12-dfsg-2ubuntu0.1: virtualbox kernel module failed to build [Fehler: ungültige Präprozessordirektive #Oefine] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox/+bug/1019628/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
