openoffice.org's save dialog, however, does not treat 'documents' extra- specially, so if xdg-user-dirs doesn't make a bookmark to documents openoffice.org won't have easy access to the documents folder
The special treatment of 'Documents' in gnome-panel and the save dialogs should be removed. This should easily be possible because it isn't given special treatment in Fedora's GNOME panel/GTK save dialogs.
