I installed the 13.04 final and also still have the problem with the touch-end or whatever it is. Can you use the touchscreen again, after logout and than login in to unity? I read that the brightness-bug should be fixed with the 3.8.0-20.30 kernel; let's hope they also worked on this bug. I'm not that active on launchad, what about the people on the 'May be notified' list, is there someone who should be added to the subscribers? perhaps this bug is lost in the amount of other bugs...
