I experience the same bug. However, I am not using a Gmail but a private server. I currently have no other account configured. I had before, but I completely removed the local folder (rm -R ~/.local/share/geary) and reconfigured Geary with the single account. However, the bug was still present at the time. The last message I can see when running geary with the --debug option are:
[deb] 13:28:07 imap-engine-generic-folder.vala:106: normalize_folders Other account x...@xxx.es:enviados ** (geary:7033): ERROR **: imap-engine-generic-folder.vala:131: UID validity changed: 1286437468 -> 1286437465 It may be interesting to know that the folder "enviados" corresponds to the "Sent Mail" folder.
