ok, I didn't read that. installing binaries from a different (older)
release usually doesn't work. If you want to have more than one release
installed, create a separate partition, install Ubuntu a second time, or
just install a chroot with another release (debootstrap) for doing
development.

running the example on gutsy:

which is an error in your program.
