This error message is a result of you killing the process, right? Which exact process was it and what was the reason you had to kill it? Was it hanging? Anyway, you probably don't need laptop-mode-tools if this is a standard 12.04 installation. It is not included in the default install. So you can remove the package if you like. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1173188 Title: package laptop-mode-tools 1.60-1ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-installation script was killed by signal (Terminated) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/laptop-mode-tools/+bug/1173188/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
