I can confirm Aaron C. de Bruyn said on 2007-06-03. When in the 'Keyboard' 'Layout Options' 'Alt/Win key behavior' is set to 'Super is mapped to the Win-keys (default)', I'm able to assign keybindings in 'Keyboard Shortcuts'.
Where for example I get the text Mod4+R. In gconf-edit stands <Mod4><Hyper>s. And everything works fine _except_ the keybindings located under /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/keybindings/ . Any keybinding located here (calculator, browser etc.) can be set, but if it is assigned to a Win+Any key, it does not happen anything. Other keybindings like 'Take a screenshot' work well, even with the Win key involved.
