Public bug reported: I'm having issue with dell inspiron 5521 overheating when using ubuntu.
With a fresh new installation of ubuntu 12.10 and 13.04, both with last kernel (3.8.0-19 on 13.04), the FAN works on max speed and is really noisy. I'm using the last version of the BIOS provided by DELL and don't meet this issue on the pre-installed windows 8.
