`kernel-unable-to-test-upstream` Thanks Joseph for looking into this. I downloaded the i386 image from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.9-rc8-raring/ Installed with "sudo dpkg -i {name}.deb"
Trying booting with it leads to a kernel panic. See screenshot: https://plus.google.com/photos/105540241924141497089/albums/5866912783964877793/5870095071922157938?authkey=CJHamI7B1LH7NQ I tried 3 times, I got a black screen crash once and the above screen shot twice. It crashes within a few seconds and the caps-lock light is blinking. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1171242 Title: Computer randomly crashes or shuts down.
