Affected, but I can't figure out how to reproduce it. It happened multiple times while I was playing Diablo II (could Wine be a factor?), so it's not just switching windows. It's not like it's stuck, but rather like it thinks there's another finger on the touchpad and goes into scroll mode. I've also noticed similar behaviour from the keyboard when it comes out of suspend, like ctrl or alt or even space bar are pressed when they really aren't (making spaces in documents sometimes, and, come to think of it, the document was opened through Wine). I don't know if it's related, but it seams to me that in both cases the system registers something pressed or touched when it actually isn't. I usually close the lid so it goes on suspend and it works fine when I bring the system back up.
I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with Cinnamon 1.6.7. and kernel 3.2.0-40-generic. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/991707 Title: Mouse pointer (touchpad) gets stuck often To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/991707/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
