Public bug reported:

Was using Raring 13.04 with kernel 3.8.0-17 with NVIDIA HDMI Audio via
the NVIDIA 319.12 drivers. When upgrading to 3.8.0-18, HDMI is no
longer listed within Sound Settings or pavucontrol (only item listed
with Dummy.) Switched over to the ubuntu nividia-current driver, same
problem. Rolled back to 3.8.0-17 and HDMI audio again works correctly.
What files should I attach to assist with this? I can roll back/fourth
between the two to get anything required.
