Can speak for 12.04-2 on 3 computers, btrfs is a bit faster but installing a kernel package take full 5 minutes. All machines are equipped with ssd's up to 250mb/s. Latest kernel seen here is 3.5.0-28. Hope someone will backport the speedup benefits.
