This would happen if you let xorg* packages upgrade ahead of the Mir PPA... xserver-xorg-core 2:1.13.3-0ubuntu2b1 is later than: xserver-xorg-core 2:1.13.2-0ubuntu2+xmir1
The fix is to make sure the Mir PPA gets pinned per these instructions: http://unity.ubuntu.com/mir/installing_prebuilt_on_pc.html Then you will have the Mir version of Xorg installed and it won't crash when passed Mir-specific flags. ** Changed in: mir Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1156946 Title: Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in OsAbort() when Mir installed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mir/+bug/1156946/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
