Public bug reported: I have a lenovo T500 and when booting on battery the Ethernet card does not work. If the laptop is on AC it does. If I plug the AC in after boot the Ethernet card begins to work and remains working even if the AC is removed.
Ethernet works if the acpi=off is added to grub. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: acpi ethernet ** Attachment added: "files.tar.gz" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1165248/+attachment/3624788/+files/files.tar.gz -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1165248 Title: Ethernet does not work on battery To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1165248/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
