Public bug reported:

I have a lenovo T500 and when booting on battery the Ethernet card does
not work. If the laptop is on AC it does. If I plug the AC in after boot
the Ethernet card begins to work and remains working even if the AC is
removed.

Ethernet works if the acpi=off is added to grub.
