This same problem recently began happening to me on an Aspire One D270 running Ubuntu 12.04. The wireless was working fine, and then I ran a software update, and now wireless is completely hosed. (Another reason why I rarely run software updates...they tend to break more things then they fix).
I also get messages in my /var/log/syslog about DHCPv4 timeout. This makes no sense, because I have a Macbook running Ubuntu 12.04 that works just fine with the wireless router the Aspire is unable to connect to. ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Status: Expired => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1063445 Title: Wireless not connecting, disconnecting To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1063445/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
