Hello Serge, it worked flawlessly. To test it I did the following steps:
1) Added poposed repository line in sources.list of hypervisor: deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise-proposed restricted main multiverse universe 2) Kept back other proposed packages adding the following in /etc/apt/preferences.d/proposed Package: * Pin: release a=precise-security Pin-Priority: 990 Package: * Pin: release a=precise-updates Pin-Priority: 900 Package: * Pin: release a=precise-proposed Pin-Priority: 400 3) apt-get update && apt-get upgrade 4) apt-get install libvirt-bin/precise-proposed libvirt0/precise- proposed 5) Stopped VM, edited config in virsh adding 6 USB devices: <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='usb' managed='yes'> <source> <vendor id='0x067b'/> <product id='0x2303'/> <address bus='2' device='4'/> </source> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='usb' managed='yes'> <source> <vendor id='0x067b'/> <product id='0x2303'/> <address bus='2' device='5'/> </source> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='usb' managed='yes'> <source> <vendor id='0x067b'/> <product id='0x2303'/> <address bus='2' device='6'/> </source> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='usb' managed='yes'> <source> <vendor id='0x067b'/> <product id='0x2303'/> <address bus='2' device='7'/> </source> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='usb' managed='yes'> <source> <vendor id='0x067b'/> <product id='0x2303'/> <address bus='2' device='8'/> </source> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='usb' managed='yes'> <source> <vendor id='0x067b'/> <product id='0x2303'/> <address bus='2' device='9'/> </source> </hostdev> 6) Restarted the VM, and it detects all of them: Bus 001 Device 002: ID 067b:2303 Prolific Technology, Inc.
