I installed http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.9-rc4-raring/linux- image-3.9.0-030900rc4-generic_3.9.0-030900rc4.201303232035_amd64.deb
(inc. the extras package), rebooted the machine, but it no longer seemed to think it even had a wifi capability. The wifi light on the laptop was not even on (in the problem case that I opened thebug with, the light would be on, and the computer would start to try to connect, but it would not succeed). I tried a reboot, but still, no light; no connection. I've tagged this kernel-unable-to-test-upstream because I think the test is inconclusive. ** Tags added: kernel-unable-to-test-upstrea ** Tags removed: kernel-unable-to-test-upstrea ** Tags added: kernel-unable-to-test-upstream -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1161135 Title: Wifi connection never completes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1161135/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
