** Description changed:

  When using the Dim Inactive function in Compiz, it takes about 80% CPU
  usage, causing the fans on my laptop to run constantly whenever this is
  enabled.

+ Open two windows, monitor cpu usage
+ Use keyboard shortcut to toggle dimming on and off
