I would like to see this bug reopened, because it is an issue that I
have been facing since I started using Ubuntu four years ago, and which
I have experiences with a range of HP laserprinters (strangely enough, I
do not have any experience with other printers ;). This is an anoying
bug, causing paper to be spilled. I am surprised to find so few
information about this on the internet: apparently people do not care.

The issue is long standing and confined to evince only. To reproduce,
open a PDF in Ubuntu, Ctrl+p, select "Current page", and instead of the
current page, the current page + a blanc page comes out. Print the
entire document, and an extra page comes out.

This is not related to mismatched papersizes between the print settings
and the PDF page size: I tested that. (in fact, there would be no reason
for a blank page even if paper sizes would not match).

I changed the description of this bug from "Additional blank pages" to
"Evince prints an extra blank page after each print job".

Please provide clear instructions if you need extra information, as my
technical background is limited.

** Summary changed:

- Additional blank pages
+ Evince prints an extra blank page after each print job
