Public bug reported: Current versions of network-manager-openvpn in Ubuntu don't support the case when the openvpn returns more than one search domain. In this case only the first one is written to the resolv.conf so the vpn can be considered practically broken. It has been recently fixed in upstream[1], so may be it's time to update the version of the package (or at least backport the patch, it can be easily applied to the current network-manager-openvpn-0.9.6 in Ubuntu)?
