I am so brand new to Ubuntu that its embarassing, but hey you gotta start somewhere right. I purchased a build specifaly for Ubuntu and everything worked except for the video drivers. im told by the people that turned me on to Ubuntu that the community WILL find a fix for it just a matter of when. I see this issue dates back to almost a year ago and there seems to be hardly to no progress at all on this so i had to break down and out Windows on the machine, but i will be greatly appreciative if someone can fix this. Thanks alot. good luck everybody.
