joecarey There are probably a fair amount of people who also get this bug happen while the computer is in sleep mode and think the problem is a wake from suspend bug when in fact the computer has had a full freeze.
I'm sure that if someone from canonical or someone with knowledge could debug the issue it can get fixed but at this stage i will have to wait till next year and see if ubuntu switching from x to mir solves the issue.
