I have both gnuplot-nox and gnuplot-x11 installed.  It is some problem
with

set terminal epslatex

and then using splot to create a 3D image.  I found one of the
sample programs that worked.  Looks like you have to do a set output
to create the image.  I'm working on it.  

The documentation is needing some examples with images in it instead
of the demos showing everything....  IMHO.

No, problem.  Thanks for the feedback and I'll be working on the issue
with my images.
