Same problem here, on a Dell Latitude C840 with a clean install of
Ubuntu 12.04.2. I can try to install from the CD or start the installer
from the LiveCD, there is always this kernel bug thrown, and the system
hangs.

The laptop is connected only to the LAN, but WiFi hardware is present.

I'd love to post more, but since it happens during install, I have no
way of catching the full error screen. The first line reads:

kernel BUG at /include/net/cfg80211.h:2351!
