Public bug reported: I am ubable to tell what's the reason.
I am running 13.04 kubuntu 64bit. And constantly updating it via trusted sources. This time it wanted to update kernel and some libx11 (or something similar file) and wanted to remove PLAYONLINUX and wine. WHY? I need those to play games via steam, which are not ported yet. Well after the update I was not able to login kde, it complained something about the libx11 file. I had to update some files to be able to run kde again. Steam had become non-working too it wanted some mesa files and complained that all of them were not able to download... What to do? Installing playonlinux doesn't seem to work anymore. It seems to brick the system. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1140368 Title: Updating 13.04 kubuntu system got messed up To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1140368/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
