It looks like v3.8-rc7 may have introduced this bug. Can you test the following two kernels:
v3.8-rc6: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.8-rc6-raring/ v3.8-rc7: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.8-rc7-raring/ If rc6 is good and rc7 is bad, I can perform a bisect to identify the commit that introduced this regression.
