Is this bug still present? On my Thinkpad x220t my e1000e wired network doesn't recognize any connection anymore. I can see the led lightning up if a cable is connected, but the driver doesn't recognize the connection. Even after an rmmod e1000e && modprobe e1000e - this doesn't work anymore...
