I think I found my misunderstanding. So read below. 1. create directory "website" in home directory and cd there 2. start Bluefish ("LANG=en bluefish &" -- just that others can follow it more easily) 3. Project --> New Project 4. Project Name: "testth" Base Dir: "/home/huehnts/website/testth" (but please note that the bluefish docs use the tilde form in their example) 5. Create Project 6. Name: "testth" 7. Save -- now there's a testth.bfproject in the website directory 8. I see in the upper left a frame with a selection box that shows "/home/huehnts/website/testth" and as content a tree with a "directory node "/home/huehnts/website/testth" and under that a "leaf document node" named "." 9. Right click on the directory node and select "New File" 10. File name: testth2.html 11. Dialog box: File save error Could not write file: "/home/huehnts/website/testth/testth2.html"
And if I think about it, /home/huehnts/website/testth does not exist. I thought step 4 would create it and never wasted a thought about this directory not existing. -- can't add file to project https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/126343 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
