Thanks for reporting this bug in Ubuntu, however there is insufficient information to debug it. Please attach both your /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /var/log/Xorg.0.log so that we may do so. Also, if possible please test against Feisty or a newer version of Ubuntu and report if it still occurs.

After changing the xorg.conf a bit all looked ok but the it suddenly stopped working.
