Public bug reported: The manpage as well as the command-line parsing code of unrtf 0.19.3 do promise an option --nopict which prevents the generation of images but the option is ignored; the corresponding code is implemented only in later version of the 0.19.x series (as well as in the latest .20.4-1). This causes, e.g., problems with recoll where recollindex properly runs with --nopict to extract text but unrtf still tries to generate the images in the local directory, which can cause unrtf to crash if the directory is not writeable. => would be great if unrtf could be upgraded to a newer version. Note that version > 0.19.3 also seem to handle already cases such as unicode which are currently handled via patches to the 0.19.3 base version.
