I too have an N150 with Ubuntu 12.04. I don't have 3.2.0-33 installed, perhaps because I don't use the N150 very often and an update or two got skipped.
I confirm the brightness adjustment works with 3.2.0-32-51, but doesn't work with the later releases I have installed: 3.2.0-36-57, 3.2.0-37-58 and 3.2.0-38-60.
