I wrote a script, that it would be nice to have in PATH. It could be
used by both the installer and language-selector to set /etc/papersize
to a reasonable value as derived from an applicable locale. As regards
language-selector, it could be called when the system wide setting of
regional formats (in /etc/default/locale) is updated.

@Colin: If you think this is a good idea, is there a suitable package
where the script could reside?
