Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ltsp-server

After installing ltsp on ubuntu from gutsy tribe-2 cd, a udev rule gets
created in the chroot which is specific to the server.

/opt/ltsp/i386/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules

# PCI device 0x10ec:0x8139 (8139too)
SUBSYSTEM=="net", DRIVERS=="?*", ATTRS{address}=="00:30:1b:ae:a2:2e",
NAME="eth0"

The above card's driver and mac address are those of the server ethernet
card. It's not clear to me if this is likely to cause issues or if it
is just a little bit pedantic, but I discovered it while trying to
understand this error where a network card was getting renamed:

Perhaps the above is relevant, it's not too clear to me now.
