Public bug reported: conversion from svg to png causes mogrify to consume all memory available in the system
in kubuntu version 12.1 i dot imagemagick via apt-get install inkscape which also i think installs imagemagick with it using command mogrify -format png *.svg what happens is mogrify consumes all memory in the system including the swap space and goes into a freeze and stays like that until i kill the process manually the specific svg file that causes this is attached to this bug it can also be downloaded via this link http://www.clipshrine.com/Metal- pot-cover-14107-medium.html through the svg link however inkscape can open the file and display it ** Affects: imagemagick (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: mogrify ** Attachment added: "the file that causes the bug" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1123479/+attachment/3525775/+files/Metal-pot-cover14107.svg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1123479 Title: conversion from svg to png causes mogrify to consume all memory available in the system To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/imagemagick/+bug/1123479/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
