I have an ATI Radeon Xpress 200M in my Toshiba A135-S2386 Laptop with the ATI driver 8.34.8 driver installed from the repository. I have tried the various options suggested above to no avail. It suspends ok, but the display does not come back when I resume. Hibernate seems to work ok.
