@madbiologist: I downloaded the current image from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20130208/
and installed it via usb-ceator on a stick. This version is not starting. It comes up to the black screen with the mouse coursor, but nothing happend. Mouse/F1.. terminal is not responding. Boot log looks good...
