has a discussion, that this problem also appears in ubuntu 12.10. It says that the updates for Ubuntu 12.10 include the new driver for broadcom to fix this, so I think it should be included in ubuntu 13.04. The new driver fixed my problems. The launchpad site with the driver says "raring PROPOSED".
